I'm holdin' on to what we said, wasn't happenin'. I'm holdin' on to what we said, was important then. And the future's not set in stone. There's time to mend what's torn. Now, I see- love's a stranger to defend. Now, I see- bless our anger in the end. And I'm standing still. And I feel it comin', I feel it coming' again. I'm holdin’ on to each regret, that could've ended then, I'm holdin’ on, a failed reset, denial's happenin'. And the future, is still unknown. There's time to tend what's grown. Now, I see- Pain and Beauty share a name. Now, I see- Don't you know it's all the same. I'm slippin' back. And I cannot do it, I cannot do it, I cannot do it, I cannot do it again!

River 05:31
‘Aint that a pretty picture, said the matting to the frame Can you see a hint of darkness? Can you smell a speck of pain? Yeah I see it in the thin lines. I feel it in the earth. I see it in the color. The irony of mirth I went down, to the river, where I see the signs of aging in my eyes. I went down, to the river, where I see the signs of aging in my eyes. This garden is lovely, said the lion to the sheep. Let’s make this our secret, for both of us to keep. A pattern of excuses, and false sincerity Left the sheep running, as far as they could see I went down, to the river, where I see the signs of aging in my eyes. I went down, to the river, where I see the signs of aging in my eyes. There’s room at this table. There’s room at this table. There’s room at this table. There’s room at this table. I went down, to the river, where I see the signs of aging in my eyes. I went down, to the river, where I see the signs of aging in my eyes.

Let’s watch all the new, until it runs out Let’s watch all the new, until it runs out We need another story, we need another story to be told. Another kind of progress, another kind of progress to behold. Helpless and numb, we watch the world burn Helpless and numb, we watch the world burn We need another story, we need another story to be told. Another kind of progress, another kind of progress to be whole.

We are sailing. Where? We don’t know. We are guessin’ the way we’ve always known. Quiet torment, beneath the golden cow, Isms and ations, what are we sayin’ now? What are we sayin’ now? Muddied waters- Will things ever change? Muddied waters- Will things ever change? Will things ever Change? This is movin’ as far as I can tell Nothing near us, purchasing a spell. Gobbledygook- purity turned fowl Isms and ations, what are we sayin’? Muddied waters- Will things ever change? Muddied waters- Will things ever change? Muddied waters- Will things ever change? Muddied waters- Will things ever change? Immigrant bones, imperial skin Who’s out /who’s in? Who’s out /who’s in? Immigrant bones, imperial skin Who’s out /who’s in? Who’s out/ who’s in? Life it folds, the market wins Who’s out /who’s in? Who’s out/ who’s in? Life it folds, the market wins Who’s out /who’s in? Who’s out /who’s in? American lies, American sin Who’s out /who’s in? Who’s out /who’s in? American lies, American sin Who’s out /who’s in? Who’s out /who’s in?

Carry Me 05:07
Counting all the ways, I can spell disaster. Restless in the night- contrived necromancer. Piercing like a knife, coercive as a cancer Hope’s malingerer searching for an answer. Looking for the proof, to show that I’m a failure. Creating new mistakes, to show that I’m in danger. Piercing like a knife, coercive as a cancer Hope’s malingerer searching for an answer. Look up to the sun, it burns bright for you. Every time the flowers bloom, another year has passed. Look up to the sun, it burns bright for you. Every time the flowers bloom, another year has passed. Oh Carry me! I’m not strong enough on my own!

Fickle as a highway Desperately naïve You’ve gone through hell to get here, now You’re begging for reprieve Everyone’s watchin’ Squirming on the line Praying for sympathy Helps to pass the time Hearts don’t break, they Just stop beating And I’ve got flatline eyes Disconnected Disengaged I’ve got flatline eyes Hearts don’t break, they Just stop beating And I’ve got flatline eyes Disconnected Disengaged I’ve got flatline eyes Truth comes to market, But power’s on the bill. Bartering security Waiting for the kill Streets are bleeding Courtyards full of shit Modern infostructure now Hides it for a bit Hearts don’t break, they Just stop beating And I’ve got flatline eyes Disconnected Disengaged I’ve got flatline eyes Hearts don’t break, they Just stop beating And I’ve got flatline eyes Disconnected Disengaged I’ve got flatline eyes

I’m surrounded by a million Gurus Telling me where to go, what to think, and who to trust I can hear, those million Gurus Laughing as I fall, Laughing as I fall apart I’m surrounded by a million eyes Looking my way, telling me that I’m gonna fail I can hear, those million eyes Laughing as I fall, Laughing as I fall apart They read us like a tabloid in the aisle They expose us and dispose of us Emptied like a trash can in the street Out of sight, out of mind And we can’t seem to get enough I’m surrounded by a swarm of Gurus Telling me what to buy, where to eat, and who to love I can hear, the swarm of Gurus Laughing as I fall, Laughing as I fall apart They read us like a tabloid in the aisle They expose us and dispose of us Emptied like a trash can in the street Out of sight, out of mind And we can’t seem, no we can’t seem, no we can’t seem to get enough Money lenders in the temple There’s no room for the soul to resound Money lenders in the temple They made the deal before we came around Money lenders in the temple Callin’ on the cheats to make everyone pay Money lenders in the temple Stealing our moments, day after day Money lenders in the temple Stand up get ready before they keep us down Money lenders in the temple Gather up the flame, burn it to the ground

Your self-interest is the bottom line It seems I was the fool for thinking you’d change your mind. I’ve crunched the numbers, and I think you’ll find, You can’t collect that interest once you’ve died. You were a child like I was when you were young Scared of all the things you didn’t understand You were a child like I was when you were young I hope that I still feel in when it’s gone Pulled up by bootstraps you inherited You only had to tiptoe to the top The myth of your fortune you believe it Predestined extortion, you won’t stop You were a child like I was when you were young Scared of all the things you didn’t understand You were a child like I was when you were young I hope that I still feel in when it’s gone Self-righteous condemnations living off the eagle You’re a fucking camel, good luck with the needle Hateful aspersions cast down from atop the steeple You’re a fucking camel, good luck with the needle You were a child like I was when you were young Scared of all the things you didn’t understand You were a child like I was when you were young I hope that I still feel in when it’s gone You were a child like I was when you were young Scared of all the things you didn’t understand You were a child like I was when you were young I hope that I still feel in when it’s gone I hope that I still feel it, I hope that I still feel it I hope that I still feel it when it’s gone

Oh, Heart 04:34
Oh heart, oh heart Why’d I let you lead? You trust to often You fall to easily! Pleasure, Pleasure Are you the aim? Well I thought I knew for certain Thought I knew, now I’m the one to blame! No one ever told me No one ever said to look inside I can’t erase this; I can’t escape this. Then again, this time could be new I could change. Karma, karma Is there such a thing? If there is, I’ve got it comin’ One way or another this will sting! Closure, closure Evasive friend Cannot ever be forgotten Pacified but never truly dead I couldn’t see it I couldn’t see; I was too close I can’t out pace this, I cannot face this! Then again, this time could be new I could change if it’s for you Then again, this time could be new I could change. Running in circles Actions all the same Melting like wax Held over a flame Nothing seems to fit Nothing seems to grow Nothing seems to matter At least I told you so Then again, this time could be new I could change if it’s for you Then again, this time could be new I could change.

When all the days passed, that we spoke of Our dreams lurked ahead, and we broke em When there’s nothing new to say I guess the silence is important All the while, I ran my mouth We painted our faces, as lions And roared with the windows up The spots around your eyes let me know that you’d been cryin’ All the while, I bit my tongue Is this our way back home? Is this our way back home? Will we run from the things that name us? Or has this already tamed us? This is the way, we all fell into little white lies, about “transcendence” and “renewal” Pain erodes I can’t ever let it go Is this our way back home? Is this our way back home? Will we run from the things that maim us? Or has this already slain us? Can we pull ourselves out for a minute? And hold it together- till we win it? Will we let our ambition strangle us alive? Or fight for a new way, to survive?

Everything’s looking a little more bleak As everything you knew slips right over your head Everyone’s looking a little too grim, as you can’t find the words It’s gone over your head Everyone’s looking a little more dark; fearing that you’ve missed the mark Everything’s looking a little too dim; praying for a place to start over And your wheels, they keep spinning but you don’t know where to go; And you laugh Every inch grows a mile deep, Remembering the times you stood up from the ground Seconds span a whole lifetime Remembering the times you rose up from the ground The things we do, while we’re alive Becoming someone Comfort hides somewhere inside We’re all no one And the moon it keeps pullin’ Every ocean tide As we laugh We’re on our way back home and we feel like Dancin’! We’re on our way back home and we feel like Dancin’! We’re on our way back home and we feel like Dancin’! We’re on our way back home and we feel like Dancin’! And the sun, it keeps pushin’ All us people back to earth So we laugh! We’re on our way back home and we feel like Dancin’! We’re on our way back home and we feel like Dancin’! We’re on our way back home and we feel like Dancin’! We’re on our way back home and we feel like Dancin’!

about

The songs contained in this album tell the story of transformation. A transformation predicated upon small, incremental actions, that culminate into something much more vast than the sum of the collected parts.

This isn't a story of romance, or grand heroism. Rather, the story told in "I'll Do It Again Tomorrow" is an ode to subtle action and the power of remaining committed to our highest ideals, even in the face of uncertainty.

It seems fitting to release this album today; The first day of winter. As the days gradually begin to grow longer and brighter, we're presented with an opportunity to welcome something new, and embrace renewal and growth.

I hope this album finds its way to those who will enjoy it. I hope this album will inspire those who hear it, to pursue their souls yearnings, by beginning to plant seeds that will grow into a bountiful harvest.

Thank you to all for listening.

The future's not set in stone,

Fern
